Influence of compactive effort on the strength characteristics of lime treated laterite soil mixed with untreated textile effluent

Industrial waste generated is a major contributor of total worldwide. The proper mechanism for management these needs to be established, especially in developing countries. Therefore, this paper attempts evaluate the influence compactive effort on strength characteristics lime treated laterite soil mixed with untreated textile effluent. study was carried out index properties, unconfined compressive (UCS) and California bearing ratio (CBR) accordance procedures specified by BS 1377 (2) 1990, 1924 Nigeria General Specifications. Three efforts namely; British Standard light (BSL), West African (WAS) Heavy (BSH) were used characteristics. findings showed that an increase values lime-TE results general tests.
